Blue Lake Triathlon

Tracy took a short weekend trip to Blue Lake Regional Park in Oregon with her good friend and triathlon teammate Serene. They went to participate in the Blue Lake Triathlon. It was a fun girl's road trip. These are our bikes on top of Serene's car...I'm jealous of Serene's Cervelo! Also note Mt. Hood in the distance.

The day before the race, we checked out the course, and did some sightseeing. This is the Columbia River, which marks the border between Washington and Oregon.

Serene and Tracy

It was evening, and our shadows were long. We had lots of fun taking shadow pictures (see facebook for some from Serene!).

Mt. Hood, again. This would have been the spectacular view on the bike course in our triathlon, had it not been cloudy.

Serene was fascinated by the TALL speed limit signs, compared to Washington, so we took a picture. It's one of those things where you just had to be there.

Oh yeah, and the real reason we were at Blue Lake...the triathlon! Tracy makes sure her tires are pumped. "We just want to (clap) pump, you up!"
